Unlike Pepsi who is busy making up bizarre but interesting flavour alternatives of its most popular drink, Coke seems determined to bore us with its line up of 'healthy' Cola options. Following Coke plus Vitamin C and Green Tea Coke, comes 'Coke plus Fiber'. Constipated Coke lovers can now breathe a sigh of relief that their favourite beverage is taking their regularity in hand. No need to eat Bran Flakes and prunes every morning, just guzzle some softdrinks!
Not only does it supposedly have 1.7 grams of fiber (which means you'll have to drink about 15 bottles a day to get your recommended daily allowance), it is also has no calories or sugar, or taste for that matter. Basically it's Coke with its soul removed, and fiber added. Hmm, what else. Oh and it has a funny aftertaste, and has a lot of fizz to try and cover that fact up. Yep, I think that about covers things.
Thanks guys but I'll stick with the prunes and Bran Flakes, they're more fun.
Next up? Coke plus Protein. Prophecy or inside knowledge? You heard it here first.
