Do As Tokyo Does Microdogs
(Entered Jul. 26, 2005)
  Recent Do As Tokyo Does:

To accomodate the lack of space here in Tokyo, Japanese scientists are constantly struggling to make everything smaller. This includes computers, cameras, mobile phones, and of course, dogs. As you can see by the picture, these days dogs are about the same size as a girl's shoe, or about the size of a bug to be stepped on. And no, it wasn't a puppy (cuz I asked). 'Ai chan' which is the dog's name, was full grown. Ai chan was a good dog though, she didn't yap annoyingly as most other small dogs are inclined to do. I kept waiting for some crow to swoop down and eat her for breakfast though.

You might notice that Ai chan is dressed very fashionably, another fetish of Japanese people. It's true that people in Canada sometimes put sweaters on their dogs in the winter, but designer clothes, and in the middle of summer? I'll say one thing for Ai chan though, she was the star of the whole park. People everywhere (girls mainly) were coming over, giggling, pointing and cooing over her. If I was smart, I'd get my own mouse-dog, dress him/her up, and head to the park. What a way to pick up women!
