My buddy MJG recently told me I should be 'pimping' my artwork more, and that I shouldn't post a big bunch of them in a group every few months, but spread them out more by posting each one separately. He's probably right.
So that's what I'll be doing from now on. I'd like to post one painting a week, but I don't paint that fast. Still, I've got a bit of a backlog now so will be posting them semi-weekly For a while at least. Enjoy!

A portrait of my wife Kumi. Have always been slightly unsatisfied with the original one I did about a year ago. Since then I've improved my technique and understanding of light, proper shading, and colour, plus a better attention to the detail required when painting facial features.
